The Tata Xenon is mainly powered by a 2,179 cc Direct Injection Common Rail diesel engine. It comes with a Variable Turbine Technology (VVT) along with a five-speed manual transmission. As far as safety is concerned, it comes with disc brakes at the front, with drum brakes at the rear side, collapsible steering column, side intrusion beam on every door, engine immobilizer, keyless entry, and central locking.
